New York, NY — June 6, 2011 – Media6Degrees (M6D), the pioneer in Social Targeting, today announced that Penry Price, most recently the Vice President of Global Agency Sales & Partnerships at Google, will join as President. Price completes the M6D executive team of CEO Tom Phillips, COO Andrew Pancer and CTO/Co-Founder Rod Hook, and will lead sales and marketing, including all client and agency relationships.
Price is a pre-IPO Google veteran, having joined the company to run eastern sales in 2004 from his position as Advertising Director of Us Weekly. He went on to manage the 750-person North American direct sales force, became a Vice President in 2007, and assumed his current global role in 2009. During his tenure, Google’s annual North American direct sales revenues grew from under $250 million to over $3 billion.
